Looking for something the whole family can do? Check out the brand new Zoo360 at the Nation’s first zoo the Philadelphia Zoo. With a popular new addition called the Big Cat Crossing which is a wired mesh trail that extends for 330 feet from the popular Big Cat Falls area 11- to 17-feet above ground and right over the main visitor pathway, you’re sure to witness some new sights! This Friday, September 26th, why not spend your night cracking smiles with Aziz Ansari! Starting at 8:00pm, Aziz Ansari will be at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Ansari is one the biggest stars in comedy. He is mostly known for his co-star role in the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated NBC series Parks and Recreation. Ansari has also starred in a number of films and television series and debuted his much-anticipated third hour-long stand-up special “Buried Alive” on Netflix in November. Campus Philly College Fest
Calling Alumni, calling all! The city of Philadelphia welcomes everyone to come enjoy a day of entertainment, discounts, giveaways and free admission to museums for College Philly College Fest! A Philadelphia tradition for more than 20 years, students will be granted free admission to select museums and attractions along the Parkway, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. 40th Street Summer Series Concert
This Saturday, September 27th, come enjoy this year’s last free outdoor concert. The free concert also includes such festive family-friendly entertainment as fire artists, face painting, jugglers, balloon art and more. This last concert, much like the previous concerts, are located behind the Walnut Street Free Library at 40th and Walnut streets, begin at 6 p.m. and are totally free.
Liberty 360 3-D Show
This weekend, experience history in 3-D with Ben Franklin as your guide at Liberty 360 located at the PECO Theater: 600 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19107. The show surrounds visitors as they take an immersive, 360° patriotic journey to discover our nation’s symbols of freedom—from the bald eagle to the Statue of Liberty. The Historic Philadelphia Center is where kids can participate in Colonial for a Day, a program that outfits them in traditional children’s clothing from 18th-century Philadelphia.
